Hail Fellows,

Things have been a bit busier recently as far as numbers goes. It may well be possible now for us to raise enough people to go after that turtle that haunts the depths.

One thing to remember, is that this should take no more than fifteen minutes even for a couple of ventures into it's lair, and may indeed be much quicker... so even if you don't have much time to spare on a given evening you may be able to fit this in.

Please post if you would like to do this soon and ...

Hello Kin fellows,

A meeting of as many of us as possible to celebrate and 'break in' the new Kin house is very much overdue.

Hopefully we will have races and duelling (probably with Mithril flakes as prizes) and perhaps one or two other events depending on what we can come up with.

A Sunday is somewhat traditional for us, although not essential. I would hope to make this event within the next two weeks.... maybe even the next Sunday coming if that fits well with others.

Although I once thought it impossible, it has gotten to the stage that Khuzdul tablets actually make me feel rather ill (), and I would much rather keep the little silver it takes to identify an item than spend it and then deconstruct them.

Please post if you have many legendary items yet to collect so I can flood your mailbox with those that are filling my bags.

Hail Kin!

Last weekend a brave and quickly rallied troupe of Kin-members set out to do mighty deeds in Skumfil.

Alas, the deeds did not prove mighty enough. We ran afoul of Brumbereth, previously dispatched, but now we didn't come through.

This ticked me off, wondering what I (or we) did wrong. I'm still not sure, but want a rematch!

I would also like to tell her King what I think of his demeanor... (go to the right side of Skumfil, that is).

Hail fellows,

I need a few corrosive droplets that I think drop from slugs just inside the sewers of Carn Dum. I made it as far as the sewer gates, just to find I don't have the key to enter (which I believe Urro drops).

I am hoping a few brave fellows may be able to help me defeat him. If possible burglars or elven characters would be wonderful as we could sneak past all the guards and then Tiers is free to bother the slugs in the sewers.

First of all, we would need close to 12 well equipped heroes, acid resistance and good class balance are the most important issues. I think we can ask few old kinmembers and friends to fill the last spots.

Acid resistance can be build by traits (some classes) and itemization (3 pieces of copper coin set).

So, interested people please do pre "sign up" here, and we see if ...

Hello,

This is just a note to make everyone aware that Nuin Giliath will be moving from their old home into a place closer to Bree. There are a number of reasons for this, but it is largely because it will probably be a more suitable central location for our member base from many different lands and of many different races. Aside from that, change can often be nice and this way we never have to find exactly what Miktho has done to those walls beneath the coverings.

I think I am not the only one yet to complete this book (after two attempts with unfortunate resullts despite the company of brave warriors).

There will probably be a few people about wanting to complete it now the next book has been released, but of course as ever a group with unknown fellows is to be an absolutely last resort.

Are there any others still to complete this book? Perhaps we can coordinate something over the weekend?

*snif, snif* I am all out of Long Lost Secondage Texts and obscure moonletters and nasty elf is demanding more battle lore so he can fight some fish in Moria. I wonder if we have any sweet brave men and women with huge weapons to play with who could help me to collect things from massive catacombs of Haudh Iarlicht. Naturally we are not graverobbing the place, we just bring the wisdom of old days to be used today. Maybe next week, or someday... just keep the elf busy, he usually goes away if ...

When I arrived in Bree I think after a few of barlimans brews and my poor accent I became Salogel.
