Boast Post
So you have a particularly good run, or a fight that's just that little bit too challenging - and you come out the other side. Who do you tell? Where do you post when you want someone to pat you on the back and say "well done"?
Think that'll be here then.
Me to start! Faf, me and Colt just bested the Nazgul!

Re: Boast Post
Well done indeed!
Where is this Nazgul to be found? Is it a part of a quest or an instance?

Re: Boast Post
The only Nazgul I have fought is in the last chapter of Book5: Fire and Ice
And I think it is just "a Nazgul"
Well done anyway if you bested it with only 3 people

Well done, my favorite challenge was fighting from Udunions corpse to Castellan Wisdan with Breg, Lachlan and Vinyalindo. Great fun!
...and what surprises me everyday, is the fact how good healers captains and loremasters can be if they wish. Lachlan is the Healer of them all!

Re: Boast Post
It was indeed Book5, Chapter 8.
It was an interesting fight, I just kept hitting the Nazgul and Alqua and Colt swapped between helping and taking the adds.
Changed to a 2H when the Nazgul was around 10000 morale to give him bigger hits. A tactic that sort of worked but did leave me at 0 morale at one point. Thankfully Coltsfoot was quick on the mark.
I must admit having a Captain and a Loremaster around is definately useful.

I bumped into this beastie in the Misties last night. He was a nasty character. He took some finishing off I can tell you!

Re: Boast Post
That's a hard fight to win alone by the looks of it Renn, well done indeed. I have definately never conquered anything with that much morale alone... I am usually proud of a simple elite.
A blow well struck (or many blows rather)!
EDIT: And I just spotted you decided to eat a pie while at it!

*Is mightily impressed* THAT looks like it was touch and go at some points. Think you deserve the NG Champion of the Week award for that....possibly even Month!

Aye very well done! No easy thing to do to kill something that hard on your own. /bow

Renn's latest shard quest. This one was strangely easier than Hoartusk.

Wow....impressive battle indeed. (And kudos for screenshotting it too, mid battle)
But just one little detail....which I'm sure Celothranor may have mentioned to you....That eyepatch? It's not quite you!

Re: Boast Post
Today Barowine led Celoranthor, Aloisa and Vinyalindo into depths of the horrible nest of undeads in Barrowdowns. After defeating a rather easy Bargheeg and bit more nasty ghost our merry and tired group found an ancient nemesis of Free People. Fight was tight, but under the stars we fought this foul creature untill it fell down and stopped twiching. Huzzah!!

Re: Boast Post
Thank you all participants. Place was indeed Bree-reputation Barrow, and we fought trough the 3 hardest bosses the place has to offer.
Standing surrounded of enemies able to spot you in any second and tanking horrible undead with greatsword and being down at 30 morale when Athelas has 5 seconds of cooldown left, was something memorable to experience.
