Book reading
Rough plans were made last night to finish off some of the Epic quests tonight and tomorrow.
I'm at Book 10 Ch 2. I think that was one of the earliest people have.
So far Aloisa, Viny and Longrim had similar. (If I remember right)
Any one else welcome. Was aiming to see if we could blitz through 11 to 14. Not sure if that's a bit ambitious but we'll see how far we can get. Anyone else need similar then shout.

Re: Book reading
Some of these books I did a long time ago, but I am fairly sure there's clusters of quests that can be completed quickly within them (travelling and deliveries and such).
There's probably only a small handful that will take an hour each in there.
I am actually completely available for the next few days, even if not necessarily online.
With just a bit of a nod to the where and when given here, then I will certainly be there.

Re: Book reading
I'll be around tonight - probably 7ish.
I suspect it will involve lots of treking then a toughish instance.

Rosie is just about to start book 12 I think, and is eager to keep reading. Unfortunately she is not going to be around before Sunday afternoon or early evening, and then things will get weird for a week or so.......

Re: Book reading
Good progress made. The Annoying Wardens of Annuminas sent us all over Middle Earth, then the Elves of Tal Bruinen got us acting as messengers. Now ready for Goblin Town.
The evening included, Fafnir getting stuck with a row of w's in the chat channel and watching the doors to Amarthiel's Chamber close on him, a leap of faith of Weathertop by Aloisa and Fafnir and waterfall jumping in Tal Bruinen.

Re: Book reading
Was some good fights last night for Book XII, thanks for inviting me... I am at the begining of Book XIV myself, so if you don't mind I may try to find a pick-up group to do that today. I am unsure if I will be around on Monday when you plan to do them, but if I am I will of course be happy to do them again!
For Book XIII, there is a tip that could save you one or two hours of traveling, but as it may be considered a spoiler I've made it SIKRIT!

Re: Book reading
I am very desperate to complete book 14 before the end of Monday, and I am already occupied for the closing hours of Monday night.
I will be around for most of the day and should mostly be able to help with the ongoing reading, but if I can find a group to do book 14 chapter 15 I may jump in with them for a bit.
I am sure it can take no longer than an hour at the most.

Re: Book reading
I resigned my self to not being able to do Book 14 in time, but at least it's in sight now and being in Forochel is allowing me to catch up on other quests at the same time. Just got to Chapter 6 which is advertised as a small fellowship quest and involves visiting the mines near Zigilund.
I need to boost my funds a bit and I may no be around much until after the weekend, probably OK for installing and checking out then off on Friday for a cold and drunken weekend in a castle in Northumberland.

Re: Book reading
I doubt few have made such progress in such a short time Fafnir... good reading indeed.
((On the bright side, I think this means you will get exp for those quests whereas it went into the great white void for the rest of us!))

Re: Book reading
Celothranor's with you Fafnir, same place. He had a go at it solo, not a good idea for an LM. Hopefully you can delve the mine (not the one I had in mind) together.

Re: Book reading
I was about to attempt it but travelling from the ship wreck I was attacking a lone worm and out of nowhere a signature undead thing appeared and got the best of me.
I'll be back on after the update now. Too tired tonight for more so will just install the DVD and get ready for tomorrow.

Where are you up to?
Perhaps there is another thread somewhere, I can't see it.
Longrim and Celothranor are on Vol 2 Bk 5 chapter 5
They are also on Vol 2 Bk 8 Chapter 3
Does anyone else have similar needs?

Edgemoor and Ansalgar are ready to help with any book reading. Eranmoth, though not skilled enough as yet is also willing to assist.
